Poster Reveal // Fossilist Update
Fossilist releases one of several final posterS
Hey Fossilist fans!
Wanted to give you all an update for October – we've been spending a ton of time in the edit bay lately. I’ve been cutting together several scenes that the team has been reviewing and giving feedback on. It's surreal to finally see the vision that's been in my head for so long actually playing out on screen — the same screen you'll all get to watch so soon. We have SO much footage, so cutting each scene takes time, especially when we're making sure every voice in this story gets heard. But even with the occasional headache at the edit bay, it's completely worth it.
Speaking of things that are worth it, we're finally ready to share one of our posters! The incredibly talented Italian artist Aurora Catera has been working on this all summer, and we're excited to give you this sneak peek. While this is one of our favorites, we have two other versions that will stay under wraps until the film comes out.

Our assistant editor, Malakye, has nearly finished organizing all the footage from the past three years, which means every single person we filmed with has been reviewed and prepped for the edit. I forget just how many amazing paleontologists we've talked to until their faces pop up on my screen again — it genuinely makes my day seeing people I haven't seen in a while.
We're still on track for a finished film by March, with private screenings shortly after. It still feels far away, but I know it'll fly by.
Be sure to follow us @FossilistFilm on Instagram and Facebook if you haven't already!ticking with us through this adventure. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more powerful finale.
