Our public lands are under attack. In December 2017, a presidential executive order reduced Bears Ears National Monument and Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, two national monuments of great scientific, cultural and geological significance. For the first time in history, the Antiquities Act is being challenged, resulting in a handful of grassroots organizers banding together in rural communities to make sure this precedent does not stand. And you can help.

We are excited to announce the launch of our Seed&Spark campaign, a film-centric crowdfunding platform, this month to engage with and gain support from donors, like you, who are affected by the threatening of our public lands. Together, we hope to raise $15,000 to provide a voice to the passionate landowners while educating the public on the need to preserve and protect these lands through the completion of On Strange Soil.

On Strange Soil is a story about livelihood, healing, and survival of traditions. The film explores the recent controversy surrounding the reduction of two national monuments in Southern Utah: Bears Ears National Monument and Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. Our characters offer the untold story behind the motivations leading up to the unprecedented actions that have started a recent battle over our public lands. We hope you can support us and join us in the fight.
